365 grateful 1/2/14

The mornings are often a hasty rush quick sips of coffee to wash down the anticipation of possibly missing my bus. I negotiate time like a rare commodity, misplaced keys may mean no time to swallow down my vitamins. There may be enough time for a green shake or an egg but never both, and if I pack a lunch there is no time for either. But in between the chaos he scampers around singing or pretending out loud, watching SpongeBob, tucked in a blanket, eating breakfast like a puppy from a plate on the floor as he zips his beyblades around in between bites. I am eternally grateful for this child for his sweet soul for the richness he adds to my world for his warm kisses in the morning as I race off and his giant hugs when I come home.
